Sam Carder

Sam Carder is an ethically responsible fashion stylist and creative director who leads with sustainability at the very core of his creative process.

Having worked at the helm of London's fast-paced weekly publications, Sam felt the need to pause for thought and question whether there is a greener way forward in fashion, not just editorially but also for advertisers and corporate brands alike.

In 2022, Sam co-founded a revolutionary company and later platform; Root Creative. Root's mission is to champion a greener way to shoot campaigns and engage with the conversation whilst pushing back at the fast and sometimes wasteful mindset.⁠

Sam advocates that we all have a responsibility when creating and consuming fashion. Creative excellence and environmental responsibility must always go hand in hand.⁠
